OpenHRIS is an open source software development project, targeting to automate many Human Resources functions on a web based platform.
OpenHRIS is aiming to fullfil all needs of small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in HR. OpenHRIS
- will be entirely web based
- will have a modular structure in order to provide maximum flexibility
- will require no investment for infrastructure (it will be accessible from and fully operable on every computer with a browser and access to internet)
- will be ready for deployment immediately after installation (will include basic built-in HR models
At the beginning, main focus will be on personal and organizational development areas where most SMEs are unable to store a solution. Therefore in the short term, some classical HR functions such as payroll management and attendance control will be left out of the scope of this software project.
